I help people solve problems by doing things they haven't done before. As a multidisciplinary designer, I work with my clients and colleagues to collaboratively explore, understand, and solve problems. I engage a variety of stakeholders throughout the process, continually synthesize research findings into actionable insight, and engage teams to iteratively build, implement, and evaluate impactful solutions.

I am energized by projects that require a mix of system and detail level thinking, as well as a balance of design and business thinking. Clear and concise communication is a foundation of my design practice that enables engagement, collaboration, and decision making.

Currently, I'm helping the Government of Alberta to build citizen centric, digital services in my role as a Service Designer at J5.

I'm curious about strategic foresight, service design, how to better leverage Scrum and Agile, and design leadership.

My fascination with different ways of thinking, doing, and living led me to spend two semesters abroad during my degree: one in Graz, Austria and one in Nantes, France. Both of these experiences gave me the opportunity to study design in an international context and work with students and professors from all over the world.

Teaching is one of the things that brings me the most joy, as I find it both interesting and rewarding to create dynamic and engaging learning experiences. I teach guitar regularly and have created and led workshops and sessions on a variety of topics in the past. There is nothing better than helping someone expand their view of what they can do.

I am always working to cultivate a diverse set of experiences as I find that the most interesting ideas can come from unexpected connections.

My ideal day includes visiting a new city, sipping a cappuccino while people watching on a terrace, riding their public transport, and exploring an exhibition.

Please don’t hesitate to send me an email if you would like to collaborate on a project or chat about design – I’m always looking to explore new projects and opportunities.
